Blogtv.ca – Updates

It’s looking like things are moving along swiftly with the soon to be Blogtv.ca social casting site. The progress bar is moving along nicely..

Blogtv.ca update page

And the guys have released a Youtube video giving us some more info on how things are running.

Blogtv.ca Youtube Video:

You can instantly see the huge difference in a professional run outfit, and one run from your living room.

Blogtv.ca Office:

VaughnLive Office:

Ok, it’s obviously a green screen, but you get the drift.

One part of the video that did stand out, was when it appeared to be a little dig at Mark Vaughn, regarding adding more servers and dealing with overloading.

Ok, so you have owners who realise that just adding server after server is not the way forward. You also have owners who dress and look like professional businessmen.

Then you have an owner who draws on his face and wants you to pay for a busy site.

Not sure you have to have studied for a business degree to see which one of the two will be most popular.

Still, it could be worse. You could be James Packer!

You see the problem with obsessive conspiracy theorists, is that after a while, they start to think that everything and anything is fake.

Lets take a look at what James Packer thinks of Blogtv.ca:

How did Scuttlebutt put up with this guy for so long?

He clicks on a ‘coming soon’ template, right clicks and looks for ‘view page source’ and demands to see link to their streaming servers, that aren’t even running yet?

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry?

All in all, it looks like blogtv.ca may very well be arriving sooner than later. If and when it does, i wonder how much Mark Vaughn will regret this:

There’s no laws being broken in using the BlogTV logo or in using the BlogTV domain. The original site of BlogTV sold out to younow, younow shut the BlogTV domain down so that makes the BlogTV logo and it’s domain up for grabs for anyone else to use. No one as of now apart from the upcoming Canadian company owns any part of the BlogTV logo or it’s domain.

Mark is seriously talking through his ars, If Mark was in the money and in spending so much on video servers, why isn’t he also creating jobs in making Vaughnlive even more better. It’s good to see another social casting site coming out as no doubt, BlogTV.ca will also create jobs in the future as it grows. Like that of when Justin.TV first started, they created tons of jobs and that is why we have a site like Twitch today. So Mark, it’s almost time to back up your shit for over the years since I first started using your site as a viewer back in 2013, fuck all literally has changed, the layout is the same as it is today as it was back in 2013, nothing new as been created apart from adding the VIP feature which is practically being forced onto your viewers and casters in order to milk extra cash from your users of Vaughnlive and for what? So that you can so call state that it is needed to keep up with server costs, rather than coming up with new visions and ideas for the site to make it more better. Hell as far as I am concerned, Vaughnlive is as stale as a 1 year old slice of bread.

Also to the fact, at least everyone who will be using BlogTV will be treated with respect and equally, no mod, techie, director, owner will be coming onto user channels and judging them like the way you and your staff do Mark Vaughn. No random shit will be thrown at viewers of the site either, in accusing them of breaking TOS when the person who is being accused of breaking such TOS was not the individual involved in breaking such TOS.

I agree Ben Mark and Scruffy are both full of shit. Disagree and you are accussed of all sorts of things. My site has been shut down on Vaughn for breaking TOS guidelines and I dont even cast on there, in fact these days I hardly even visit in any capacity. I have asked Mark several times now to explain why but no answer which is to be expected because as I said before because you disagreed with my mommy which is the truth would make him look a bigger fool than he is already.

I welcome any site that rivals Vaughns like Ivlog and good luck to Blog.tv if it makes a comeback.

Mark a lot of your former casters are now at Ivlog so I don’t think saying it is bullshit is correct. Still you have GamerGirl who lol’s at everything you say and stokes your ego but somehow I dont think mommy would be pleased if you brought her home to meet daddy. She would sit there just fiddling with her hair and boobs all night hell maybe daddy Vaughn would like it but I can’t see mommy being impressed.

See that’s just it, Miss Scruffy especially, reads herself of what is being said on the blogs such as this one, but rather than reflecting on her own attitude and coming to terms of her own fuck ups that she has so far made, she continues to bad mouth and talk shit about it on other peoples channels. There’s nothing professional in doing shit like that. I wonder, does Mark or even Lynn know what is being said on sitejapper? I left a review myself over in that on March 2015, it seems that 781 people has so far read it. This is what I mean by word of mouth, that does get around. Why not check out what the other 3 peoples has said about vaughnlive while your at it Scruffy.

Wrong, younow owns the rights to the logo and name post-acquisition regardless of if it’s being used or not. You dolts have no idea how copyright law works.

BlogTV will put the last nail in vaughn’s coffin. R.I.P VaughnTurdLive.

mark will tell himself anything, rather than accept reality. the guy is batshit crazy! if it wasn’t for nurse scrubby looking after him, he’d be in some kind of institution for people with severe autism. the guy lives in his own little fantasy world. never seen anyone as deranged as mark before

I also notice that there are shit loads of movies being streamed on Vaughn, I am talking dozens of movies and programs. All going unchallenged by Mark and Lynn for breaching TOS. That’s one serious copyright infringement going on there. If I were Mark, I would be shitting myself for it’s only a matter of time before this gets noticed and then he shall be in way over his head with law suits or something. Maybe that’s why all the bandwidth is being used up and putting a very heavy load on his servers. Him thinking his site is doing very well indeed by breaking the law in allowing user to infringe copyright. At the same time, he is taking advantage of that as a chance to earn money out of it by introducing that VIP feature, the life streaming casts in taking the full brunt of that in forcing users to sign up to go VIP for to get uninterrupted viewing without that unnecessary banner that is being forced onto the viewers.

  5. I think he’s finally starting to admit to himself that it’s all but over. I don’t know if you was watching GG’s cast yesterday, but Mark was in there (surprise surprise) and was talking like he’s going to close down VL and the others and start up a new business adventure. He was saying things like ” never lay all your eggs in one basket” and “maybe it’s time for a new challenge” etc.

Maybe i was reading too much into it, i don’t know? But i wouldn’t be at all surprised if VL disappears sooner than we think.

damn, ill admit i was a skeptic. but to be honest man you cant blame me. the name blogtv.ca has been going around for years, it was around when blogtv itself was around and years ago people were going crazy over b logtv.ca saying blogtv is coming back, im astonished as to how many people dont remmeber this. im drunk atm and not gonna do proper grammar cos fuck that so forgive me., but yeah man, i hope this does take off, im excited for one. i met a lot of wonderful people on the original blogtv, a lot of really nice people, and of course, sexy chicks. there were surprisingly a lot of irish on that site, id see 9 irish casters at the same time, got to meet some cool people. that number has gone down to about 5 i still keep in contact with and talk to daily on skype. problem is, its little too late., the blogtv folk are not gonna flock to this site. they have careers, children, and other stuff. the average person from blogtv is not gonna google ‘blogtv’ 4 years later, it just isnt gonna happen. i fear that this website will have a 2 week booming buzz and then go downhill, but i pray that i am wrong.

also as soon as this site is up you know mark vaughn is gonna be crying to the lw about copyright shit lol, but legally i dont think blogtv.ca is infringing on anything but im not a lawyer, but you can expect mark to be huffin and puffin and snitching

  7. startingtobelieve

i dont think they are infringing either.after hearing the bald guy saying they did the trademark thing i actually went and checked and well they did take actions to own the name.

    1. Ben the Bastard

I’m counting 136 people streaming movies and programs right now. How that is not infringing copyright really baffles me. If it was some other site that people were casting that much movies and programs, there be DMCA takedowns going on left and right.

Yes Carl, It wouldn’t surprise me either. Vaughn running and hiding because rumour has it, someone tipped of the feds Tennessee branch of what’s going on with streaming movies on Vaughn. Surely any of that can’t be one bit legal.

      1. That’s why, as dead as the top bar is, they would rather it be dead, than have the Misc channels on the top bar, where anybody first glancing at the site would see illegal movie streaming by the dozen.

Also i noticed after the last Superbowl, channels closed for streaming it, were simply open again 2 days later. It used to be, and Weewee was a prime example of this, that if you had your channel closed down by the copyright holder, your channel was gone for good.

This year, take Eddie_Compton for example, had his channel closed for copyright infringement due to streaming the Superbowl, then 48 hours later, his channel is restored like nothing happened.

Copyright holders wont tolerate people thinking they can get away with allowing infringement by basically saying ‘yeah, you can cast whatever you like and if we get a takedown notice, i’ll just close your channel for 48 hours, then you can come back and do it again’

There’s a WWE PPV coming up in a few months called Wrestlemania. It was streamed on VL last year too. It’s their biggest event of the year and WWE are notorious when it comes to DMCA. They’d even false flag reviews of events on YT. If anyone will put VL in trouble it’d be the WWE. They’d pursue legal action, they’re very sensitive when it comes to their material.

On an unrelated note, I was watching NXT a few weeks back. guess what the name of one of their wrestlers is… Richy Swann lol, it made me lol

blogTV,ca isn’t just dead, its rotted corpse has turned to dust and gone back to the frozen soil from which it sprang.

    Facebook activity – zero
    Twitter feed – starved
    Site update meter – moribund
    youtube – absent

Stick a fork in this one, lads. It’s done.
